BioPorto Diagnostics is present at the premier event in the nephrology industry, showcasing both our NGAL Rapid ELISA Kit (KIT 037) for in vitro diagnostic use* and our human and animal NGAL ELISA kits and antibodies for research. Meet Jakob Ohm Eriksen, NGAL Product Manager, and Sales and Marketing Manager Trine Østerbye at booth 224.
Relevant to more than 13000 clinicians, physicians, scientists, researchers, and educators in nephrology and other healthcare professionals who attend from USA and the rest of the world, the 41st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Nephrology will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA. on November 6-8.
The overall theme for the meeting this year is “Translating Basic and Clinical Science into Advances in Prevention and Treatment of Kidney Disease.” Although the program will broadly cover all major areas of basic, translational, and clinical sciences relevant to nephrology, four featured topics will be especially highlighted: Renal Immunology and Transplantation, Cardiovascular Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Stem Cells and Kidney Development, and Epithelial Transport and Cell Biology.
ASN was originally formed to organize an annual meeting to facilitate the dissemination of new advances in the science of nephrology. The portfolio of educational activities has since greatly expanded to meet the needs of both practicing nephrologists and renal scientists. The annual scientific meeting that has grown into Renal Week includes not only presentations of original research such as free communications and posters, but also a wide array of symposia, conferences, and courses on a full range of topics from basic science to clinical practice and public policy.
