Since the very identification of NGAL as an early marker for kidney injury, BioPorto Diagnostics has offered NGAL assays and antibodies. The value of NGAL as an acute kidney injury marker in humans has gained strong support through widely published scientific literature. Furthermore, NGAL has also proven to be invaluable to the pharmaceutical industry in its use as a marker of nephrotoxicity in experimental animals.
