Cat.No. HYB 010-03
Mouse monoclonal antibody
The affinity (Kd) of HYB 010-03 for rHV2K47 is 4.5x10E-7 M (1). HYB 010-03 is suitable for affinity purification of hirudin forms with intact C-terminals (1).
Recombinant hirudin (rHV2) produced in S. cerevisiae and coupled to diphteria toxoid
The epitope of HYB 010-03 is located at the C-terminal part of hirudin.
Available in 200 µL and 1 mL size.1 mg/mL +/- 15%. See Certificate of Analysis for details.
Hirudin is a highly effective and very specific anticoagulant which specifically inhibits formation of fibrin and activation of factors V, VIII and XIII by forming irreversible, noncovalent 1:1 complexes with α-thrombin. Hirudin is a 7 kDa protein naturally originating from the medical leech Hirudo medicinalis.
HYB 010-03 can be used in ELISA (1).
